Day 17 (2 Feb 2024, Fri)

Survived, discharged and back to SS12 home after 19 days in Selayang Hospital. 1st record of liver retransplant survival case in Malaysia. All glory and honor to Jesus. Thank every saint for all the powerful and consistent prayers. 🪶🫶

Day 15

JK served as care taker at normal ward 8D-Katil 10 on 31 Jan 2024 (Wed) 7:30am.

Met Dr. Mohan. He said everything is progressing well. Ready to discharge on 1 Feb (Thu) afternoon.

Met the transplant coordinator, Ms. SP. Sivapakiam. She gave a long list of instruction on what to eat and not to eat.....for 6 months.

To eat

• Food cook for 1-2 hrs
• Fresh food
• Well cook food
• Healthy snacks
• White meat - chicken and fish
• Pasteurized milk

Not to eat

• Overnight food
• Over heavy meal
• Sugar
• Grape fruit
• Red meat - pork, beef and mutton
• Hawker food
• Fast food
• Frozen food from outside
• Canned food
• Ketchup

Others

1. Keep a daily medicine chart
2. No walking outdoor
3. No gathering
4. No visitors 

Day 14

Sandra Chang served as care taker at normal ward 8D-Katil 10 on 30 Jan 2024 (Tue) 10:00am - 2:00pm.

Day 13

JK visited normal ward 8D-Katil 10 on 29 Jan 2024 (Mon) 5:30pm.

JG already passed motion normal for a day. Progressing well.

Ward 8D-Katil 10. No visitor allowed.

Unbelievable 😍! With the view of 5 tallest building in KL.

Historical first successful liver retransplant case in Malaysia.

Thank God for His miracle.

Estimate to stay here for about a week before discharge.

Day 12

JK, & Justine visited HDW on 28 Jan 2024 (Sun) 12:30pm.

Prepare to move to normal ward next week.

Nurse told that need to have a specific care taker 4 hours daily in the normal ward.

Day 11

JK, & mum Peggy visited HDW on 27 Jan 2024 (Sat) 1:00pm.

Started to feed with solid food but have difficulty to pass motion naturally.

Continue to 🙏.

Day 9

JK, & Justine visited HDW on 25 Jan 2024 (Thu) 1:30pm.

Muscle stitching operation was completed on 24 Jan (Wed) around 2:00pm.

Experience great pain.

• Add on 1 med for him for his blood pressure control.
• His blood pressure was at border line due to not moving
• On morphine due to severe pain after stitching.
• After stitching, he will need to go through the process  of healing till bowel movement resume before he could be transferred to normal ward.

Liver started to function gradually.

Nurse informs to get prepared for shifting to normal ward.

Day 7

Mum Peggy proclaimed healing based on Word of God.

JK, & Mum Peggy visited HDW on 23 Jan 2024 (Tue) 1:30pm.

Current Progress:-

• Started to feed solid food.
• Started to pass motion.
• Started to sit on chair for 2 hrs.

Next :-

• Expecting muscle stitching operation tomorrow.
• Expecting to unplug blood stream tube tomorrow.

Spoke to Dr. Amir (One of the surgeons).

HIGHLIGHTS

1. Waited this operation for 3 years (since 2021 Jan)
2. 4 failed operation attempts earlier due to wrong timing, unfit liver or unfit patient health condition.
3. First in history of Malaysia a second time liver transplant in one patient success case.

Day 5

JK, & Justine visited HDW on 21 Jan 2024 (Sun) 4:30pm.

Stable recovery process.

Feeding tube was removed.

Started to feed liquid Ensure Gold.

Expecting to unplug blood stream tube soon.

Day 4

JK, SG(sister) & Peggy (mum) visited HDW on 20 Jan 2024 (Sat) 1:00pm.

Stable recovery process.

Started to feel very mild bowel movement.

Bloated stomach started to subside.

Day 3

JK & Justine visited HDW on 19 Jan 2024 (Fri) 1:00pm.

Stable recovery process. Need a lot of rest.

Jin Ghee is fully conscious and said that he felt the presence and healing from Jesus.

He thanked everyone who is concern and the church for the powerful prayer.

Stable recovery process. Need a lot of rest.

Day 1

JK visited HDW on 17 Jan 2024 (Wed) 12:30pm.

Met Dr. Mohan. Describe the operation as 90% according to plan. No complication. Faced 3 challenges.

1. The thinning of portal vein. Need to take down the vein from arm for reconnection.

2. Connect the bile duct straight to small intestine.

3. Stomach bloating causing the postpone of muscle stitching to another day.
