Deception be broken off unbelievers.2 Cor 10:4-5 tells us our spiritual weapons are “divinely powerful for … destroying speculations” in those under Satan’s dominion. The phrase “destroying speculations” is not one easily understood without further definition.
The Greek word for speculation -logimos- means any logic, philosophy, or belief system imbedded deeply into the mind of a person. English word “logic” actually comes from this Greek word.
These logimoses can control a person’s thinking that any hearing of the gospel is first filtered through them, causing the message heard to actually be distorted. People don’t hear what we preach; they hear what we communicate plus what they already believe.We must pray against these deceptions, asking God to destroy them and believing that the weapons unleashed through prayer are
