Visitor / Contractor Pass

Dear SS12 Residents,

The cooperation of the residents is lightening the work load of our committed road reps. Many residents under my care initiated to send in their payment to my doorstep. Thank you for your understanding.

Our chairman received calls, cards and visitation from residents to express their gratitude to see the success of the scheme. A number of residents turned up to our Sunday 6pm meeting at the gazebo. A few of them are from road 2E & 4. They are looking forward to see themselves to be included in the scheme. This will happen very soon, probably before end of the year.

We have not received any crime news in our area (SS12/2A-D) from 1st Nov till now.

As majority of the residents have paid the monthly fees and put on their windscreen stickers, we shall see the guard house check point being tighten gradually as requested by most of the residents. From 11 November onwards, we will start to use the visitor and contractor pass. Please inform your visitor/contractor to do proper registration before entering to our compound.

The guard will ask for the following information from them:-
  • Name
  • H/P Contact number
  • House address to visit
We seek for your full cooperation with the guards.

  1. The use of visitor/contractor passes is a good step forward to ensure improved security. Other than those who see/check this blog on updates, how will the other residents know of new arrangements? A suggestion - Post simple updates at the access point i.e. able for the driver/passenger to read as they pass through.

  2. Appreciate your positive feedback.
I shall say the BLOG is reaching about 40% of the residents. Other ways of media are under evaluation due to cost and manpower involment. The notice board in the playground is part of the plan. Your suggestion of distributing the flyers on the check point is also a creative idea. I will raise this out in the committee meeting. Thank you.

  3. Received a card with useful telephone nos and space to record neighbours' telephone nos during the Self-Defence Workshop. Should be useful for SS12 residents if additional cards can be obtained from the Zon 1 Committee or copies made for distribution. (Unable to paste sample here).
