strong reminder to us that we should not put things in our own hand as God is
the judge of all things.

Exodus 6:4 & 5…”…covenant….”

In normal cases, the
beneficiary will remember the promise and the benefactor will forget his word
but
ii.
In the case of
Israelites, though the Israelites had forgotten the promise of Canaan Land but
God will keep His promise for many generations.
c.
Exodus 6:9
Discouragement and hard labour caused deaf ears to the Lord.
Therefore,
we need to:-
i.
be consistently feed
ourselves with encouraging words and
ii.
have rest in peace regularly
2. Reflection :
a.
Is there any
occasion that you are tempted to use your own strength to chase away evil?
b.
You had prayed for
long on what God had promised but still do not see the answer yet. Do not be
discouraged. He will fulfil His promise at right time.
c.
Make receiving and
speaking encouraging words as part of your lifestyle.
d.
Can we also make
rest in peace as part of our lifestyle? Set apart one day in a week as rest in
peace day.
